Maureen is a qualified Yoga Therapist with The Minded Institute

Hi, I’m Mo! I have been a yoga teacher based in Glasgow for many years and teach Ashtanga, Seasonal Flow, Yin, Restorative and Pregnancy classes, each having their own unique qualities for the practitioner.

I trained as a Yoga Therapist with the The Minded Institute and continue mentoring trainee therapists. My role as the therapist is to work holistically with my clients supporting their physical and emotional well-being and help them to rediscover their own vitality and inner peace, especially during health and wellbeing challenges. I do this by applying the practical and philosophical teachings of yoga, mindfulness and self-enquiry. This can be a wonderful opportunity to reclaim self-care, to nourish your body and mind, and to let go of habits that may no longer support you. I take a structured but flexible approach with the goals of the client in mind with the emphasis on meeting the client as they are in that moment.

I can support and guide you with many conditions and illnesses including stress & anxiety, depression, long term illness or injury recovery, conditions that lead to chronic pain, Long Covid and Cancer. You can read more of my own cancer journey on the following page.

Anyone can benefit from yoga therapy in both mental health and physical conditions. It can be used to support wellbeing and recovery and as this is generally a one to one practice can be tailored to the specific needs of the client:
