Gillian completed her 200hr yoga teacher training qualification in 2016 at Seasonal Yoga Academy and is currently undertaking a 300hr vinyasa yoga teacher training qualification at The Kali Collective. She began practicing yoga at the age of 17 to help recover from emotional trauma. Being a very active person by nature and, with over a decade of martial arts experience (karate and kick-boxing), Gillian was drawn to ashtanga and strong vinyasa flows that help build strength as well as flexibility.
You’ll find her vinyasa flows infused with playful energy and terrible jokes! To Gillian yoga is more than the physical postures that we do with our body it’s about how we feel when we’re doing them. Her classes are playful and energising; expect fun, creative flows and to get out of your comfort zone a little! She invites you to be your own teacher and to take cues from your body moving in a way that feels good for you. Her classes create a safe space for you to explore and
experiment with movement creating a balance between strength and flexibility.
